RSS My Sample site Here my blog description http://www.aspnetcmsdemo.com MVC3 + Razor in the latest CMS release http://www.aspnetcmsdemo.com/blog/mvc3-razor-in-the-latest-cms-release Oct 22 2010 12:00AM
I have implemented the latest greats from Microsoft: the MVC3 still in beta and the Razor view engine and migrated into VS 2010 in the latest release. Must say, it's pretty sweet. Love the syntax.

Within the release, I have also added some kind of theme file manager, so you can edit your themes on the server. Not really a full blown file manager, but it does the job.
Screen shots and tutorials coming soon http://www.aspnetcmsdemo.com/blog/screen-shots-and-tutorials-coming-soon Oct 22 2010 12:00AM
I have been developing newer version of the CMS so fast that if I did any type of documentations, it would probably be obsolete in a few weeks.. still the CMS is not where I want it to be, but I am pretty happy with the latest version. With very little it allows me to do a lot, which is the basic philosophy of this CMS. So promise, I will get to some docs hopefully soon...
Czechs: the CMS masters http://www.aspnetcmsdemo.com/blog/czechs-the-cms-masters Oct 22 2010 12:00AM
I believe the Czech republic has the highest concentration of CMSes per capita. Just found out that one of the biggest ASP.NET CMS companies: www.kentico.com is Czech. How surprising :). Also www.webnode.com which is one of the big players in hosted CMSes is Czech.

When talking to my friend developers back home, it sounds like everybody has their own CMS, even one man webdesign shops do. What's surprising is that most of them are actually decent.

I am still trying to figure out why, but I think it has something to do with the Czechs being perfections about UI presentation. So any CMS is just not good enough. We want something that will produce the exact HTML/CSS we want, and will not settle down for anything else. Since HTML/CSS is very interpretative the demands are different, and so are the requirements for CMS.
asp.net mvc cms list http://www.aspnetcmsdemo.com/blog/aspnet-mvc-cms-list Aug 23 2010 5:44PM
I have been keeping an eye on the competition of my ASP.NET MVC CMS, and here is a list that I came up with and some comments:

Oxite: an open source, web standards compliant, blog engine built on ASP.NET MVC.

N2 Open Source ASP.NET CMS
the sample page looks like a spam site, so I guess the developer decided just to make some adsence money of his code

BlogEngine.NET
looks OK but since it's not in MVC I would call it an outdated technology...

BlogEngine.NET
looks OK but since it's not in MVC I would call it an outdated technology...

Admin demo login comming soon http://www.aspnetcmsdemo.com/blog/admin-demo-login Apr 29 2010 5:21PM
I am working on creating a demo admin login, so that you can see the magical admin UI... need to figure out how to prevent people from modifying the content... I suppose the DB permissions should do it
Welcome to the ASP.NET MVC CMS demo blog http://www.aspnetcmsdemo.com/blog/welcome-to-the-aspnet-mvc-cms-demo-blog Apr 29 2010 12:43PM
Welcome to my blog.
